Panel: The future of search and recommendation: Beyond web search
The increasing ability to learn representations of text, code, and even medical chemical compounds is changing what and how people search in every domain. In this panel, we bring together experts from industry and academia to discuss how these technology trends will impact every facet of search and recommendation, from vertical search scenarios like biomedical search and e-commerce search to enterprise, email, video search, and beyond. We invite the panelists to speculate on emerging scenarios for search and recommendation, the implications of technology trends, key challenges that must be solved, and likely scientific breakthroughs on the horizon.
