À propos
Dr. Kallaher received his PhD from Florida State University in 2007, studying the ferromagnetic semiconductor europium sulfide. Prior to joining Professor Manfra’s group as part of Microsoft Quantum Research – Purdue in 2017, Dr. Kallaher was a Senior Scientist at Modern Microsystems working on process development for fabricating high power electronic devices and x-ray optics. He has held postdoctoral research positions at Virginia Tech, studying spin coherent transport in indium antimonide and indium arsenide systems, and at the National Institute of Science and Technology, researching nanostructured thermoelectric materials. As part of Microsoft Quantum Research, Dr. Kallaher develops device microfabrication processes for heterostructures of superconductors and highly spin-orbit coupled III-V semiconductors.
