I am a researcher focused on robotic perception and robot systems. My work has spanned a variety of domains (visual-inertial odometry, machine learning, semantic perception), sensor modalities (monocular, stereo, and depth cameras, LIDAR sensors), and hardware platforms (ground robots, marine robots, and drones) but a common theme throughout these projects has been enabling novel robot behaviors in real-world environments. Currently I’m working on bringing robots into Microsoft’s Mixed Reality ecosystem.
