I am a chemist with relatively broad interests across applications. I have been lucky to have the opportunity to work on a variety of fascinating projects including discovery of antibiotics, derivatization of insulin, and fundamental research in organic electrochemistry. My work with Microsoft has focused on storing data in molecules of DNA, contributing to Microsoft’s commitment to a sustainable environment, and accelerating the development of new materials by integration of AI into design workflows.

I received a B.S in Chemistry from Rice University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis working with the Moeller Group (opens in new tab).
