Research
Haiguang’s research interests cover computational/experimental methods for biophysics, and their applications in protein dynamics.
Research subjects include membrane protein dynamics, protein engineering, antibacterial peptide design, and the SARS-CoV-2 related protein dynamics/interactions. The most recent highlight is on producing ‘molecular movies’ (i.e., visualizing protein dynamics) using X-ray free electron laser (XFEL) crystallography and supercomputer simulation hybrid approach. He has published over 60 peer reviewed articles, including Nature, Nature-series, and PNAS.
