We mobilize the power of data and technology to assist governments in accelerating transparency.
Microsoft launched ACTS, our Advanced Cloud Transparency Services initiative, in 2020 to help government agencies find new ways to mobilize data in their efforts to curb corruption. Since then, we’ve worked with governments worldwide, to develop solutions that enhance transparency and build public trust in areas such as procurement, tax, investigations, and beneficial ownership.
Compliance and ethics
ACTS originated within Compliance and Ethics, part of Microsoft’s legal group, CELA (Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs). CELA works on the cutting edge of business and regulatory issues worldwide, helping pioneer new legal, corporate, and external affairs solutions. Our principled approach to problem-solving reflects CELA’s commitment to corporate responsibility and integrity, helping build trust with our government customers.
