Drawiz: Making Technical Diagrams Accessible to People with Visual Impairments
We have all heard the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. It is particularly true in STEM fields where technical diagrams are used universally as a core construct for communicating ideas. And people with visual impairments are denied the wealth of information that is present in these diagrams simply because they are inaccessible. Drawiz aims to remedy this situation by generating detailed, navigable, and audible descriptions of technical diagrams for people with visual impairments.
