À propos
I am a principal researcher in the Database group (opens in new tab) at Microsoft Research. My research interests are generally in the area of data management and big data analytics systems. I am interested in creating novel technologies for Cloud applications. In particular, I led the creation of Mison, an ultra fast parser for data analytics on raw data. Mison has been commercialized and widely used at Microsoft, such as in Azure Storage (opens in new tab), Azure Synapse Analytics (opens in new tab), Cosmos, SQL Server, and so on. Before joining Microsoft Research, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the database systems group (opens in new tab) at University of Wisconsin-Madison (opens in new tab).
