À propos
I am an Applied Scientist at Microsoft, working on large-scale Machine-Learning models for different AI scenarios at Microsoft Search, Assistant and Intelligence (opens in new tab) (MSAI) group. I am working on various AI features for Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Teams). My research focuses are machine learning (at scale), optimization algorithms, network science, game theory and applied graph theory.
From 2016 to 2019, I was a Research Scientist at Philips Research (opens in new tab) in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Previously, I also spent some time as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam (opens in new tab) (UvA) and at Delft University of Technology (opens in new tab) in The Netherlands. I obtained my PhD (with cum laude honors, given to 5% graduates) from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2014. I graduated from the MSc. program in Advanced Computer Science (opens in new tab) from the University of Cambridge (opens in new tab), with distinction (Cambridge PhD condition) in July 2011. I was also the first Macedonian with a computer science degree from Cambridge at any level. Even before, I successfully participated at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), winning a bronze medal.
