I am interested in developing new machine learning methods to accelerate traditionally costly tasks in materials science such as structure prediction and materials discovery. My research to date has focused on using machine learning to accelerate Kohn-Sham density functional theory calculations. More broadly, my interests include approximate inference and generative modelling.
