À propos
I am a Principal Hardware Engineer in the cloud infrastructure team at Microsoft Research, Cambridge, UK. I am currently working on optical storage, and previously optical networking.
My background is radio and microwave frequency electronics, and I am engaged in all aspects of electronic system, simulation, circuit, and board level design. Designs I have worked on cover high speed, low power, low noise sensing, electro-optical, signal processing, and embedded systems including writing firmware to run on microprocessors and FPGAs in these systems.
At Microsoft I was previously in the human experience and design group in a team exploring connected play – prototyping and developing novel technologies that enable new forms of play, social, and entertainment experiences.
