Teresa Meng is the 2018 SIGMOBILE Outstanding Contribution Award (OCA) winner. This award is given for significant and lasting contributions to the research on mobile computing and communications and wireless networking. Teresa is being honored for her groundbreaking research, engineering and entrepreneurial leadership to make Wi-Fi faster, lower power, and lower cost. Victor, who himself is the recipient of the SIGMOBILE OCA, in 2013, will engage Teresa in a candid conversation about her career as a professor at Stanford and as the founder of Atheros Communications. He will ask her about her experiences, being a role model to women engineers, and about life lessons.
