How cloud productivity tools are uniting Kraft Heinz’s mobile and global workforce
Creating a thriving, flexible work environment can be a significant challenge, especially when it involves a highly mobile and global workforce. One way to make this easier is through the cloud.
In fact, leading analyst firm Gartner believes that cloud-based productivity tools have matured to the point that most organizations should seriously consider moving their collaboration and communication system to cloud-based deployment models.
Many leading businesses are doing just that, moving to take advantage of the improved functionality, simplicity, mobility and cost-savings that cloud productivity tools can offer.
One such leader is Kraft Heinz.
Prior to its merger with Kraft, Heinz determined that Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus would deliver the consistent, mobile-friendly communications and collaboration capabilities they needed for a modern workplace and the mobile experience that millennial employees expect.
According to The Kraft Heinz Company’s North America CIO Leandro Balbinot, “Our employees are rapidly adopting tablets and smartphones to get work done on the go. Office 365 ProPlus is a flexible solution for accessing files and communicating with colleagues from anywhere using any device.”
Given its huge potential benefits, Heinz wanted to deploy the solution quickly. Working with Microsoft partner Perficient, Heinz used Click-to-Run to deploy the solution to 14,000 users in 32 countries in 10 weeks. Employees are now on a single version of Office that is always up to date. Mobility capabilities and file sync and sharing have had a positive impact, and the company has reduced costs with this simplified environment.
