Microsoft Supports the BNP Paribas International Hackathon 2017
Microsoft is excited to announce its support for the San Francisco chapter of the BNP Paribas International Hackathon 2017, organized by Bank of the West.
Are you ready to solve the key challenges in banking, finance, investments and personal insurance?
The BNP Paribas International Hackathon is a startup competition that challenges today’s brightest minds. From June 9 to 11, the third edition of the Hackathon will launch in ten cities around the world from San Francisco to Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw, Istanbul, Singapore and Nanjing.
Start-ups and teams of experts will gather over three days around a common challenge: to reinvent the banking customer experience.
Teams will be working on real-life challenges, in fierce competition, to create game-changing solutions. Each team will have the mission to imagine, design, refine or produce an innovative service or solution that will reinvent the banking industry’s customer experience. Winners will secure a place in the co-working phase, where they’ll have enhanced access to experts and mentors from BNP Paribas to help accelerate their solution.
On June 11, in San Francisco, Daragh Morrissey, Worldwide Director for Blockchain, Microsoft Financial Services, will be a member of the jury alongside executives from Bank of the West, to help business lines pick up two winning startups.
