Puyallup School District
Together with Microsoft Education, Puyallup School District in Washington state successfully shifted to remote learning in March 2020 through widespread access to devices, integrated technologies, virtual trainings, and open collaboration for more than 23,000 students. Now, Puyallup’s leaders share how they did it.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools
Miami-Dade is Florida’s largest county, home to over 345,000 students. When the pandemic reached Florida, the district faced a unique challenge due to the sheer scale of transitioning to remote learning. Thanks to the district’s Digital Convergence initiative, and Microsoft Education solutions, Miami-Dade County Public Schools created a successful hybrid-learning model.
Senegal Ministry of Education
Four years ago, Senegal’s Ministry of Education (MoE) formed a partnership with Microsoft that would play a significant role in the country’s ability to respond to COVID-19. The MoE utilized their existing network of educational tools and efficiently transitioned to a remote learning environment, creating an effective digital curriculum for its over 3.5 million geographically-dispersed students.
