As a valued partner, you have access to a wealth of Microsoft resources to help you accelerate your business and achieve your goals. In this blog, we’ll explain how to find the right support when you need it with these essential partner support resources:
Partner Support home page
Search for recommended solutions, guidance, and documentation related to your issue. Many resources can be accessed from the Partner Support home page without having to sign in, or you can create an online request for a more personalized experience.
Support portal options
Partner Center is where you’ll go to submit and manage most support requests. There are exceptions, however; for example, subscription management (post-purchase) could require you to create support requests in the relevant product portal. Get guidance on which support portal you should use.
Partner Center documentation
Partner Center users can create a support case for a business process managed within Partner Center. Examples include Membership, Benefits, Customers, Marketplace, and Incentives; see the full list.
When you submit a case directly through Partner Center, you can track the case, add comments, and schedule an appointment with an advocate. You can also send diagnostics to help route it to the appropriate team and resolve the problem more quickly. To learn how, see Get help and contact support in Partner Center.
Partner support plans
Microsoft support plans provide you with a unique set of capabilities to help keep your customers satisfied and your business growing. Understand and compare these support plans:
-
- Microsoft Cloud Partner Program technical benefits
- Advanced Support for Partners
- Premier Support for Partners
For cloud services we also suggest you check service health in Partner Center to see if there are any current known service outages. For Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) support, you can get automated service notifications through APIs.
CSP partner support
As a CSP partner, you’re the trusted advisor to customers. Direct bill partners own the customer relationship end to end, whereas indirect resellers should work with their indirect providers to support customers.
CSP partner support for customers should include commercial and technical issue escalations, subscription management and technical support, as well as Azure cost management to customers.
Partner Support availability
Partner Support hours and days of operation vary by region. Refer to this table for up-to-date availability by geographical area.
Partner Center sign-in troubleshooting
If you’re having trouble signing in to Partner Center, review this document for solutions to common sign-in issues. You can also create a support case without authentication using the following search:
