Over the past few months we’ve been talking a lot about recent and upcoming changes in the new commerce experience (NCE). As of January 10, 2022, NCE is now available for Seat-based offers for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Windows 365 in the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. At the same time, two time-bound promotions were made available, for direct bill and indirect providers transacting in CSP. The promotions run through March 31, 2022, for annual offers, and through June 31, 2022, for monthly offers. To see which offers you’re eligible for, go to the promotions page in Partner Center.
Beginning March 10, 2022, NCE will be the only avenue for new business. Partners will need to confirm their readiness prior to March 10 to ensure they’re able to transact Teams Essentials and all other Seat-based offers in CSP. Renewals can continue through June but remember that partners will lose incentives for any remaining deals on Legacy CSP SKUs at the end of December. |
What is the new commerce experience?
The new commerce experience in CSP is a multi-stage, multi-year transformational journey to deliver a simplified engagement experience that benefits both Microsoft partners and customers. It makes transacting licenses and attaching and managing your services easier, accelerating your business growth and your customers’ cloud adoption.
Learn more about NCE and stay up to date on the changes by visiting the NCE landing page on the Partner Network.
